Meet The Deans

Channon has been involved with camp since the summer of 2011. He has served the camp in many ways from being an employee in the kitchen to volunteering with every week of camp to now leading the Senior High camp. Marty grew up in Illinois and moved to Lima, Ohio in 2018 after graduating college. He’s the Senior Pastor at Rousculp Church of Christ in Lima and absolutely loves it. He has been involved with various weeks of camp since 2018. He’s been following Jesus since he was 15 and been leaning on Him through all of life’s ups and downs. Ty is a member at Bethel Church of Christ in Ada, OH. He met his wife, Bethany while attending Johnson Bible College (now Johnson University) in Knoxville, TN. From there, he graduated with a degree in youth ministry. The couple now has three fast growing boys (Will, Jase and Tanner). He spent many summers at WBCC during college and even after. Ryan is the Minister at First Church of Christ in Lynn, IN, and Payshence serves as the Youth Minister. Payshence has a deep passion for working with kids and loves helping them grow in their faith. Together, they are dedicated to making disciples and encouraging others to live out the Gospel. They have three boys (Zander, Paxton and Linkin) and understand the importance of building a strong foundation in Christ from an early age. They have been involved with camp ministry and are looking forward to an amazing week, helping young campers grow in their faith while having a blast! Erica is excited to co-dean this summer! She has been involved with Western Buckeye for many years and currently serves on the camp board as well as the mission board at Troy Christian Church, where she represents Western Buckeye. Erica is passionate about sharing God's love with children. She is married and is a mom to three kids, ages 12,10, and 7.

Morgan is the Children's Minister at Troy Christian Church and is thrilled to co-dean this summer! She has served at Western Buckeye for multiple years and loves helping young children grow in their faith. Morgan is married and has three children, ages 15, 13, and 10.
